Clinical Director of Cedar Springs Programs

I’m a small-town Michigan native who stayed close to home; I attended Grand Valley State University, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2011 and began my career working as an ABA Tutor. I went on to further my education by relocating to New Jersey, earning my Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis from Rowan University in 2013. During my graduate studies I gained experience across a wide range of ABA settings, including clinical care, school-based treatment, adult vocational programming, and residential facilities.

After graduate school I spent a year living and studying abroad in Munich, Germany before settling in Tallahassee, Florida. There, I earned my BCaBA certification in 2014 and became a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2015. Despite enjoying my time away, I found myself missing the unpredictability of Michigan weather and returned home in 2018, where I now live on the outskirts of Rockford, Michigan.

Since returning, I have worked in a variety of BCBA roles, including leadership positions, school-based contracts, and higher education - where I am heading up the newly developed Registered Behavior Technician certificate courses as an Adjunct Professor of Psychology and Behavioral Health at Montcalm Community College. My professional mission is to create a safe, effective, ethical, and encouraging ABA clinic where clients and their families can truly thrive through inclusive, creative, and practical care. The value of changing the life of a child and their family is what drives me to show up in the best possible way each and every day.

Outside of work you can usually find me on the trail running, lifting in the gym, swimming/boating/playing at our cottage on Crystal Lake in Beulah, MI, or chasing daily adventures around our homestead with my husband and 3 children.
